Usually concerned with the problems associated with large-scale electrical systems such as power transmission and motor control, an automotive electrical engineer can be involved in a various projects; from calibrating energy management systems to the development of engine electrical system components and CO2 reduction initiatives.
Playing an important part in the production of vehicles at Bentley Motors, automotive electrical engineering tasks can vary but can include Engineering Sign-Off (ESO) for components, managing component chang; including feasibility, cost and timing evaluations and performing root cause investigation and analysis on vehicle issues.
